TULARE, Calif. (March 15, 2013) – It was Chamber of Commerce weather, a beautiful afternoon with temperatures in the 70s as the World of Outlaws fans filed into the famed Thunderbowl Raceway for the first of two days of racing. Coming into tonight’s action, the hottest driver at this track since 2003 was Joey Saldana, driver of the Motter Equipment Fatheadz Eyewear 71M, with four victories, twice that of any other driver. It’s no wonder this track is a favorite of the Brownsburg Bullet.

TULARE, Calif. (March 11, 2013) – The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series continues its swing through the West Coast making its next stop at Thunderbowl Raceway for two nights of action March 15 and 16. Joey Saldana, driver of the Motter Equipment Fatheadz Eyewear 71M sprint car, is a two-time winner in Tulare, taking home victories in 2007 and 2011. Currently fifth in World of Outlaws point standings, coming off consecutive podium finishes in Las Vegas and Tucson, Ariz., Saldana is enthusiastic about the team’s performance.
